Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century brick house on Northampton Road. It is two storeys high and has three windows on the front. The central window on the first floor is a decorative dummy, appearing to be a sash window but lacking a corresponding interior space. Authentic sash windows with boxed frames and glazing bars remain. The front door is centrally positioned, sheltered by a flat hood supported on brackets, and features a rectangular fanlight above. The door itself is made of six panels. The roof is now tiled, but originally would have been of a different material.
