Description

The Six Packs Inn is an early 18th-century building, likely linked to the extension of the Grand Union Canal to Market Harborough. Originally known as the Union Inn, it features a rendered facade over red brick, with bands at the first and second floor sill heights. The building has a slate roof with wide eaves and end chimneys, and it stands three storeys tall with a symmetrical design, typically having four windows. The windows are sashes set in moulded boxed frames with glazing bars. There is a later central porch and a side trellised porch. At the rear, there is a red brick range that includes a damaged cast iron 19th-century pump.
