Description

Ivy Cottage is an early 19th-century house. It is constructed of whitewashed brick with a Welsh slate roof and brick end stacks. A wooden bracketed cornice runs along the roofline. The front elevation features two storeys of three sash windows, with glazing patterns of 8/8, 6/6, and 8/8. Tudor moulded hood moulds are above the windows. A central wooden doorcase supports a flat canopy on brackets, sheltering a 4-panelled door and an overlight with glazing bars forming a diamond pattern.
