Description
32 High Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high with a prominent first storey and features three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped by a radial fanlight, framed by a minimal architrave and canopy. To the right, there is an elegant bow window, while the ground floor to the left has a 12-light sash window that may have been added later. The upper storey also has 12-light sash windows, which are distinguished by fine gauged brickwork above, with flat arched heads and fluted keys. Much of the original glazing remains intact. The house has a modillion eaves cornice and gable end stacks. To the left, there is an additional bay featuring a cambered-headed doorway and a triple light sash window, along with a dentilled eaves cornice and a gable end stack.
