Description

This is a late 18th-century house with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick and has a 20th-century concrete tile roof, with a brick gable stack. The west front has two and a half storeys and three bays. A first-floor band runs along the facade. A central doorway, featuring a 20th-century four-panel door with a flat wooden canopy supported by brackets, is flanked by single 3-light cross-casement windows. Above the doorway, a 2-light casement is flanked by single 3-light cross-casements. All windows are late 19th-century in style. All window and door openings are topped with cambered arches. Dormers with hipped roofs, each containing a 2-light casement, are located above the main floor. The south gable wall is dated 1776 in burnt headers, although the last figure has been removed and replaced with a 20th-century casement. A 20th-century garage addition is located to the south. The building has group value.
