Description
The Queen's Head Public House is a 17th-century building that was originally a dwelling. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof, with its gable facing the street. The building has two storeys and is currently divided into three units, although the bay to the left of the doorway appears to be a slightly later addition. This bay contains a two-light casement window on each floor, both with flat timber lintels. To the right of the doorway, there are two casement windows on the ground floor that have been cut through former stone mullioned lights, and between them is a higher small blocked stone chamfered window. A similar blocked window can be found on the rear elevation. The building also has brick gable end stacks and one later rendered bay to the left.
