Description

This is a house, likely dating from the 17th to 18th century. It was originally three separate dwellings. The walls are partially rendered over a base of coursed ironstone rubble, or possibly mud and have a thatched roof. It is a one-and-a-half storey building in an L-shape, with a rear wing. The front elevation now has three bays, with a centrally placed doorway and a renewed three-light casement window to its left. The right-hand bay contains a blocked doorway and an older three-light casement window. Above, two eyebrow dormers each contain a three-light casement window. A doorway is located in the rear wing, which has a two-light casement window on each floor. The north gable wall reveals cruck construction, and several pairs of crucks are visible internally, both in the main range and the rear wing.
