Description
The Meet is a cottage that dates largely from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with ironstone rubble in the gable and to the outshut, and it features a Collyweston slate roof. The building is one and a half storeys high and has a two-unit plan. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door, flanked by outer three-light casement windows with cambered brick heads. The right-hand bay has been patched with later 19th-century brick. To the left of the doorway, there is a brick buttress. The cottage also has two hipped gabled dormer windows, which contain two and three lights, and a nogged eaves course. Gable end stacks complete the structure.
