Description

This is a tomb chest dedicated to Ann Till, who died in 1855, located 20 meters east of the Church of St Mary in Lutterworth. The tomb chest is made of stone and features a moulded and raised cap, paired corner pilasters, and ogee-headed epitaph panels. Surrounding the tomb chest are elaborate cast iron railings that include putti heads on the corner uprights, although one is missing. The railings also have varied finials and consist of intersecting top rails and looped bottom rails.
