Description
Vineyard House is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, which was extended in the early 19th century and restored in the later 20th century. The house features a timber frame that is exposed at the front and rear, with red brick extensions to the left. It has a tiled roof and is designed in an L-plan with a gabled crosswing on the right. The gabled crosswing has a jetty supported by brackets and includes some decorative curved bracing in the gable. The ground floor below the jetty is clad in red brick. The house has two storeys, with two brick ridge stacks to the left and various stacks at the rear. The windows are irregularly arranged, with five on the first floor and seven on the ground floor, all being 20th-century wooden casements of different sizes. The entrance is through a half-glazed door located in a small extension to the left, which connects the house to a later 20th-century gabled double garage.
