Description

Pack Horse Bridge is a 16th or 17th century structure located on the south side of Leicester Road in Anstey. It is built from slate and granite rubble stone, featuring red brick coping along the parapet. The bridge has five rounded arches and side embankments. Notable design elements include pointed cut waters that rise to create niches in the parapet. This bridge is also designated as a scheduled ancient monument.
