Description

The War Memorial and retaining wall at the Church of St. Botolph date from around 1920 and the 18th or 19th century. The memorial features a slate plaque inscribed with the names of those who fell in the First World War. This plaque is set into a granite rubble stone retaining wall that is approximately 1.5 meters high and surrounds two sides of the churchyard. The structure is included for its group value.
