Description
Priory Farmhouse is a house dated 1707 with early 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick with a granite rubble stone plinth and features a front roof made of pantiles, while the rear roof is covered with Swithland slate. The building has brick ridge and end stacks, and the front faces away from the lane.
The house has three storeys and three windows on the front, which include two 3-light casements and a tripartite window with a configuration of 2/2, 6/6, and 2/2 sashes. On the second floor, there are three single-light windows. The doorcase is located to the centre left and features a 6-panelled door with a 2-light overlight above.
To the right of the main section, which may be of a later date, there are two storeys with two blank 2-light windows in a Gothick style, showcasing Y tracery in cut brickwork. The left end gable has a date marked in the brickwork.
