Description
The Windmill Public House is a public house that likely originated in the 16th century, although most of its facade dates from the 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered, with the gable end rebuilt in brick, all painted white. The roof is covered in plain tiles and has one brick ridge stack. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. The central door, which is from the 19th century, is set in a moulded surround with a hood band above it. On the ground floor, there are 19th-century sash windows set within segment-headed stucco architraves, while the first floor features two-light horizontally-sliding sash windows.
