The left side of the building features timber framing with brick nogging set on a stone plinth, while the right side is constructed from rubble stone. The roofs are covered with concrete pantiles, and the structure has a double-L plan. An external stone stack, which has been heightened in brick, is located at the right-hand end. There is a brick bread oven that is roofed with Swithland slates. The cottage displays mixed fenestration, including a dormer and a plank door.
