Description
Honeysuckle Cottage and Green View are a pair of cottages dated 1824, possibly designed by William Martin, who was the estate architect for the Earls of Chesterfield. They are constructed of orange brick and feature a half-hipped plain tile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The cottages are two storeys high and have a two-bay front. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light casement windows with flat arches, gothic glazing bars, and returned hoodmoulds. Above, there are two 2-light windows set under four-centred arches, featuring four-centred arched lights within shallow semi-circular half dormers. A datestone is located between the windows, and decorative angle pilasters enhance the façade. The side elevations include porches with blind gothic arches and plain columns.
