Description
The building is a bottle kiln, dating from the late 18th century to the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a circular plan. This large bottle kiln is tall and broad, featuring a brick-coped top. There is a single entrance with a segment head, and to the right, there are remnants of an external flue. This example of a bottle kiln is particularly large and free-standing.
