Description
The kitchen garden walls at Catton Hall date from the late 18th century and have undergone minor later alterations. They are constructed of red brick and topped with stone copings. The walls form a large rectangle, standing 12 feet high, with pilaster strips at regular intervals on all outer sides, which also feature flat stone copings. The north and south sides each have a segment-headed doorcase with plank doors, while the east and west sides each have a similar central door. The southern wall includes an inserted opening at the center. These walls are included in the listing for their group value.
