Description
Oakley Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with minor alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has an interlocking concrete tile roof with raised verges and brick integral end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the main range aligned north-west to south-east and facing north-east, while the rear wing to the north-west is aligned north-east to south-west. The farmhouse stands three storeys tall, featuring toothed eaves and reduced proportions on the second floor. There are three windows, with glazing bar sashes on the ground floor and casements on the upper floors. The central entrance has a six-panelled door and a fanlight adorned with elaborate cast iron glazing bars. To the left, there is a single-storey, single-bay wing. The interior has not been inspected.
