Description
The stables at the White Hart Inn date from the 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed sandstone with sandstone dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof with stone gable end stacks. The building has two storeys, with the ground floor showcasing larger and coarser masonry from the 18th century or earlier, while the upper floor is from the early 19th century.
On the east elevation, moving from right to left, there is a doorway with a heavy stone lintel, a blocked single light window with a square section stone surround, and a carriage arch with a segmental arched head and projecting stone surround. The ground floor includes plank doors and another doorway with a heavy stone lintel, along with another blocked single light window. There is also a 19th-century doorway with stone jambs and a lintel. Above, five glazing bar sashes with stone surrounds are present, although the left-hand window has had the upper half of the sash removed.
