Description

Farmhouse. Built in the early 18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of sandstone, with cement rendering and sandstone dressings. It has a 20th-century tile roof and brick gable end stacks. Stone coped gables feature moulded kneelers, though the kneelers on the south gable are missing. The farmhouse is two stories high.

The east elevation is symmetrical, with five bays. The central doorway has a massive stone lintel and jambs, and a 20th-century glazed door. It is flanked by two 20th-century windows on each side. The first floor has five 2-light square sectioned flush mullion windows, with blocked lights in the centre window. Giant pilasters are located at the angles of the east elevation.

The west elevation includes a central staircase tower with a 2-light square section flush mullion window, and evidence of a blocked window lower down. A 20th-century extension is attached to the southwest.

Inside, the staircase has thick turned balusters, and the attic landing features fretted balusters. The building is listed for group value only.
