Description
This is a farm outbuilding located to the south of Unthank Hall, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed from coursed coal measures sandstone and features quoins, plain gables, and a stone slated roof. The north-west elevation has two storeys and two bays, with two ground floor doorways that have massive jambs and heads, leading to plain planked stable doors. There are two first floor openings with flush stone frames. At the north-east end, there is a lean-to with a cart opening supported by a timber lintel. The building is listed for its group value.
