Description

No. 2 Buxton Road is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. It stands three storeys tall and features two sash windows that have glazing bars, exposed frames, and cambered head linings. The shop front, added in the mid-19th century, includes an entablature with a dentil cornice, architrave, and stops, although only the vertical glazing bars remain. This building is part of a group of listed buildings located on the west side of Buxton Road, marking the north entrance to Ashbourne.
