Description

No. 1 Buxton Road is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof and stone quoins on the south side. It stands three storeys tall and features one window. The top floor has a sash window with later glazing bars, while the first floor has a modern casement window. The ground floor includes a small shop window without glazing bars, topped with an entablature that has a cornice, architrave, and pilasters, along with a similar door. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the east side of Buxton Road, located at the north entrance to Ashbourne.
