Nos 7 and 9 on Buxton Road are 18th-century buildings made of red brick with a slate roof. They stand three storeys tall, each featuring one window. The windows are all sashes with boxed frames and intact glazing bars. The door surrounds are reeded and include medallions. These buildings are part of a group of listed structures located at the north entrance to Ashbourne.
