Description

This is an 18th-century red brick building with a slate roof, situated on the east side of Buxton Road, near the north entrance to Ashbourne. It is three storeys high and has a single window. The top floor features a boxed frame with glazing bars; the first floor has a sash window with glazing bars; and the ground floor has a modern casement window. The doorway is distinguished by a reeded architrave embellished with medallions. The building contributes to the group value of the buildings along the east side of Buxton Road.
