Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was enlarged in the 1950s. Originally timber-framed, much of the frame is now gone. The cottage is cement rendered with a thatched roof, and has brick ridge and gable end stacks. The west elevation has three bays. The original two-bay section has an off-centre doorway with a casement window to the left, and two similar windows to the right. There are three eyebrow dormers above. Inside, the cottage retains beamed interiors and a roof with purlins, common rafters, and windbraces.
