Description
Old Queen Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with 20th-century additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick, featuring rendered gable walls and painted brick dressings, with stone sills. The roof is shallow pitched, covered with plain tiles, and has brick gable stacks, along with a dentilled brick eaves cornice. The building has two storeys plus garrets and consists of three bays.
At the center, there is a 20th-century brick gabled porch that includes a four-centred arched doorcase and a 20th-century plank door. On either side of the porch, there are three-light casement windows with header and stretcher brick segment heads. Above these, there are three similar two-light casement windows. The gable wall features segment-headed garret windows.
