Description
This is a manor house dated 1633, constructed of stone. It is an irregular building of two storeys and attics, with a gabled wing on the right-hand side. This wing features two twelve-light transomed mullioned windows, and a panel bearing initials above the date. The left-hand wing has a chamfered square-headed doorway and a three-light mullioned window. Later additions are present on the left-hand side. At the rear is a three-storeyed, tower-like projection. The building is characterised by stone gabled ends, ball finials, ornamented octagonal stacks, and a roof of old stone tiles, with some slate. The interior retains original features. The Manor House, together with Nos 1 and 2 (Crich View), known as Sunnyside Cottages, form a notable group.
