Description
Huntbridge House, dating from the late 18th century, is constructed of stone and consists of two wings set at right angles. The western wing, known as No 1, is three storeys high and features three sash windows without glazing bars, all set in plain architraves. It has a moulded wood doorcase with fluted stone pilasters, an open pediment, a segmental fanlight, and a six-panel door. The facade includes a band and quoins at the sides, a moulded cornice, and a slate roof.
The right-hand side has an advanced single-storey wing that contains three sash windows and two plain doorways. The eastern wing, No 3, is two storeys tall and has two 2-light mullioned windows along with a small sash window. The original doorway on the left has been blocked, and a later extension on the left features a moulded wood doorcase with a six-fielded panel door and a 19th-century rustic cornice hood porch. The left side has a coped gable with kneelers, plain eaves, and a slate roof.
