Description

17 St John's Street is a building of probable early 18th-century origin. It is constructed of ashlar and extends to two storeys and an attic. The front elevation originally featured a single mullioned window with two lights in the attic. A recessed door is present, topped by a later stone cornice hood supported on consoles. An early 19th-century bay window with glazing bars has been added. The building has plain eaves and a roof finished with a combination of old and new tiles.
