Description
The stable block at Yeldersley Hall is an early 19th century and late 19th century structure. It is built of red brick and features plain tile roofs, with brick ridge and lateral stacks. The building stands two storeys high and forms three sides of a courtyard. The main range has a gabled and advanced central bay, which includes a first-floor string band and a pedimented gable that houses a clock made by J Smith & Sons, Midland Clock Works, Derby.
On the ground floor, there is a segmental arched doorway, while the first floor has a two-light window under a flat arch. To the left of the main entrance, there is a sequence of a window, a door, two windows, and another door, all featuring segmental arches. To the right, the arrangement includes a window, a door, two windows, another door, and a window, most of which have semi-circular arches. The first floor is also adorned with four mansard roof dormers, each fitted with casement windows.
The return range to the left includes an additional dormer, segmental arched windows, and a segmental carriage arch. The return range to the right contains garages with lofts above.
