Description

Fir Tree Cottage, dated 1633, is a two-storey building constructed from coursed stone rubble. The cottage has one defaced mullioned window on the upper floor and a former mullioned window on the ground floor that has been replaced by a modern window. It features a chamfered square-headed doorway, which is decorated with a trowel and rosettes, along with the date 1633 and the inscription "Remember Thy God." The ends of the cottage are gabled, and it is covered with old stone tiles. The original garden wall, which included a four-centred archway, has been replaced by a garage.
