Description
The barn and attached stable range at Churchfields Farm dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features plain tile roofs, forming an L-shape around two sides of the crew yard. The barn is located on the north side and has a cart shed attached to the left, with access from the north and a single doorway to the south. The barn includes a blocked cart entrance and three tiers of quatrefoil breathers. The stable is situated to the west and has a loft above. On the ground floor, there are two doorways with segmental heads and stable-type doors, a window, a partially blocked window with a door set in, and an external flight of stone steps leading to an upper doorway. There is a single-storey continuation to the south, which has four segment-headed doorways, one of which is broader and features double doors. This building is listed for its group value only.
