Description

The Old Vicarage is a house, reputedly built in 1824. It is constructed of brick, with a cement render finish, and has a hipped roof covered in plain tiles, with a brick ridge stack. The house is arranged in an L-shape, with two storeys.

The south-facing elevation has three main bays plus an additional bay, featuring four glazing-bar sashes on each floor. The west elevation comprises three bays plus two bays, with the two bays on the left slightly set back; each floor has two glazing-bar sashes. A flat-roofed porch is centrally positioned in the three bays on the right, with a doorway above which is an overlight, and a panelled door flanked by narrow glazing-bar sashes. Narrow glazing-bar sashes are also present in the return walls. The porch is flanked by glazing-bar sashes, with three similar sashes above. All the windows on the east elevation have louvred shutters.

Inside, the entrance hall has a Minton tiled floor, and the staircase features turned balusters.
