Description

The Cemetery Church and Chapel at Spital Cemetery, built in 1857, is a single structure made of coursed stone with ashlar dressings. It features a roof with both fishscale and plain tiles, complemented by coped gable ends and kneelers. The building is designed in the Decorated style, with two gables, the northern one being larger and topped with a short stone obelisk-like spire. There are buttresses supporting the structure, and a short broach spire is located on the south side, beneath which is the porch entrance.
