Description
The former Head Office building of Sheepbridge Engineering Limited, also known as Dunston House, is an early 19th-century structure. It is built of red brick with stucco dressings and features a hipped slate roof topped with a white-painted, domed cupola that includes a clock. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with four windows on the ground floor and two on the upper floor, with the centre two windows set forward under a pediment. Some original sash windows with glazing bars remain, although some glazing has been replaced with plain or leaded lights. Additionally, there is an added gabled brick porch that has a round-arched door, a plain fanlight, and a panelled door.
