Description
The range of brick buildings located to the west of Dunston Hall dates from the medieval period and later. The buildings are now clad in red brick and feature slate roofs. The north end of the range projects to the east, creating a two-storey cottage with one window casements; the ground floor windows have Gothic arched glazing bars. This north-south range includes stables and associated buildings with lofts above. In the southern part, two pairs of massive crucks are visible, forming the northern bay of a cruck building that has at least two bays and extends into the cowsheds of Dunston Hall Farm.
