Description

Dunston Grange Farmhouse is a 17th and 19th-century farmhouse. The front section was largely rebuilt in the mid-19th century. The facade is constructed of ashlar stone with a slate roof and end chimneys. It has two storeys and three windows, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. The central door is a six-panel design with a rectangular fanlight containing tracery. The rear of the farmhouse dates to the 17th century and is built of coursed stone with quoins, coped gable ends, and kneelers, also with a slate roof and off-centre and end chimneys. The rear has two storeys and a cellar, with generally three windows. These windows are late 18th/early 19th-century casements with three lights, glazing bars, and stone lintels. There are two doors, one featuring a plain rectangular fanlight.
