Description

The lodge at the entrance to Belper Cemetery was built in 1859 and is designed in a Gothic style. It is constructed from coursed stone and features a banded tiled roof, coped gable ends, a small fleche, and a large chimney. The building is one and a half storeys tall with an irregular plan, buttressed and gabled. It has three windows, all with cusped lights and stone mullions, and the doorway is in a similar style.
