GV II

Lodge of municipal cemetery. c1858. Snecked limestone with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings and chimneys. Gothic style, L-plan. One storey; 2 bays to front with porch in angle. Gabled porch has 4-centred chamfered surround to boarded door with elaborate cast-iron hinges; projecting right bay has pointed stone mullion lights in canted window with hipped roof under gable. Left bay left return, facing cemetery drive, has trefoil and plain sash windows. Mask-stopped cornices to canted window and to eaves. Tall, round, corniced stone ridge chimneys on stepped plinths.
