54 and 56 Belper Lane is a building dating from the mid-1790s. It is constructed from coursed stone and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys, with one window on each floor and a small additional window on the ground floor. The windows are generally sash style, with late 19th-century glazing and some modern glazing in earlier window spaces. There are added gabled brick porches.
