Description
Bridge Farmhouse is a large house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, located on the street front at Bridge Foot. The building features colourwashed stucco that is grooved to imitate masonry, with rusticated quoins and a slate roof that has end chimneys. It stands three storeys tall and has two sash windows with glazing bars and engraved lintels. The central solid porch is accented with quoins, and the door includes a plain rectangular fanlight. There is a single-storey wing to the south that is angled towards the road, which has five sash windows with late 19th-century glazing. On the west side of the facade, there is a large window with glazing bars, and there is also a rear wing.
