Description

Nos 5 to 11 on Belper Lane is a small terrace of stone cottages dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The cottages are set back in gardens and feature tiled roofs with brick chimneys. No 11 is positioned slightly higher on the hillside and has two windows, while the other cottages have one window each. The windows are sashes with late 19th-century glazing, although No 9 has reproduction windows in the same spaces. No 11 also includes a small former shop window. All doors and windows are topped with stone lintels. Nos 5 to 9 have stone tiled gabled porches, and there are red brick rear wings. Low stone garden walls mark the boundary along the street.
