Description

Nos 2 to 6 on Ferry Road is an 18th-century terrace of three cottages. The cottages are two storeys high, with each having one window. The ground floor is made of brick, while the ground floor of No 6 is painted. The upper storey is covered with tiles, and the roof is also tiled. Some of the original glazing bars remain. The doorways feature flat hoods. This group of cottages, along with Nos 2 to 14 on Cinque Ports Street and The Crown Inn, forms an important architectural group at the entrance to Rye.
