Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century and later doubled in size in the mid-19th century. It features red brick construction with plain tile roofs, including two brick ridge stacks and a lateral stack. The building has a chamfered plinth and dentilled brick bands at the first and second floors. It is two storeys high with attics and has a double range plan. The west range is from the early 18th century, while the east range is a 19th-century copy. The south elevation has twin gables and consists of two bays. There is a central doorway with a wooden doorcase, a panelled door with a rectangular overlight, and on each side, there are 3-light casements with segment heads. Above, there are two similar 2-light windows, with a smaller blocked window in between. Each gable has a similar 2-light window, with the right-hand one being blocked.
