Description

This is a farm outbuilding located to the north-northwest of Babington Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone, featuring quoins, coped gables with plain kneelers, and a stone slated roof. The building is single storey with overlofts and has three ground floor openings: one with glazing bars and two plain single doorways with boarded doors. There are quoins marking a former full-height opening midway along the northeast wall. Additionally, the northwest part of the front wall includes dovecote openings and perches at eaves level. The outbuilding is listed for its group value.
