Description
This is a barn dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick on a rubble stone plinth, featuring stone dressings and a steeply pitched plain tile roof. The barn has two storeys and consists of four bays. The central opening is quoined and has a timber lintel with double board doors, flanked by a single light window to the south and a quoined, chamfered doorcase to the north. To the north, there is another quoined opening similar to the central one, and to the south, there is a quoined, chamfered doorcase along with two inserted windows. Above these, there is a two-light flush mullion window to the north and two flush square hayloft openings to the south. There is a later 19th-century addition at the far north end, which is of no special interest.
