Description

This canal bridge, constructed in 1792 by William Jessop and Benjamin Outram, is located southwest of Crich Chase Farmhouse. It is made of coursed squared stone and features a single stilted semi-circular arch with a plain band above it. The parapets have chamfered copings, and the walls curve outwards at each end, finishing in square piers. The bridge was built as part of the Cromford Canal.
