Description
Iretons Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, which incorporates parts of a 17th-century building. It is constructed from regularly coursed squared gritstone and features coped gables, moulded kneelers, brick gable end stacks, and a roof covered with Welsh slate. The house has an 'L' plan and consists of two storeys with three bays. The ground floor has three-light flush mullioned windows, while the first floor has glazing bar casements in flush surrounds at the end bays and a blocked two-light flush mullioned window in the centre. The central doorway has a quoined surround and a four-panelled door, with the upper two panels being glazed. There is a single-storey lean-to on the northwest gable, and a blocked two-light chamfered mullioned window is present on the rear elevation.
